Gosh, where was this? It seems so long ago. Oh yeah, an RV park in Ozona, Texas. Little more than a glorified rest stop with a defunct "party barn".
But Ozona does have a good steak house with huge Texas-sized portions. The drag: "blue laws" are still in effect in much of the western part of the state. We had to shell out a few bucks to join the restaurant's "private club" in order to have a glass of wine.
That doesn't sit well with the local booze-swilling
Catholics but they're outnumbered by the teetotaling Baptists 10-to-1.
