Just read online that West Texas wildfires are out of control and one of the biggest is very close to Fort Davis where we were last week.
Fort Davis, before the fire.
With my astute, finely-tuned sense of observation I observed that everything in this part of Texas was bone dry. Observe it yourself.
Sure enough, a wildfire has raged out of control and parts of the town of Fort Davis have been evacuated.
The volunteer fire department can't fight a fire this big. So wienie-waggin', birthin', Texas teabaggin' yoyos, who's gonna do it? The Federal Guvmint? We hope so. It would be a damn shame to let this part of the glorious state of Texas burn up. I mean that sincerely. These Nobama obamanosers say "we don't need no fedral govmint" but in fact we does. (Much of this is Paul's opinion, but since he's paying for the lion's share of this trip he said he'd drop me off on the highway along with that rattlesnake. See our previous post.)

Keep it clean, please. And nice. And complimentary.
